Walk away from Claude Code. Your phone rings when it needs you.
Claude Pager pages your iPhone every time Claude stops or asks for input. Reply in the app, and your message becomes Claude's next prompt, in the exact session that paged you.

How it works
-
You run
/me:awayClaude Code keeps working. Nothing changes until it stops.
-
Claude stops, your iPhone rings
The page shows Claude's last reply and which session it came from. A question rings once. Something urgent rings every minute until you act.
-
You reply, Claude continues
Type in the app. The reply goes straight into that session as the next prompt, and Claude carries on. Keep chatting as long as you like.
What you get
- Every session, its own thread
- Run several Claude Code sessions at once, on one machine or many. Each pages as its own thread, labelled by project, host and session, and replies only ever reach the session they belong to.
- Two kinds of page
- Message rings once, like any chat app. Urgent is for a bug or a blocked task: it rings every minute until you tap Ready, or Snooze to be paged again a few minutes later. Claude marks a page urgent itself; permission requests are always urgent.
- Quiet while you chat
- Once you tap Ready, that session's pages ring softly for the next 15 minutes, because you are already there.
- Your sounds, your timing
- The Profile screen sets the name, description and sound of each kind of page, how long Snooze lasts, and how long a conversation stays quiet. Turn on Always urgent for a session you are waiting on.
- Costs almost nothing
- The relay is serverless: no servers run while nobody pages. A busy month costs about ten cents of AWS.
Install
You need Claude Code, python3 3.10 or later, and an iPhone. The plugin and the relay are private for now, so the first step is asking for access.
-
Request access
Email to ask for access with your GitHub username. You get read access to the source repository and a relay to page through.
-

Source code
Claude Pager is three small parts: a Claude Code plugin in standard-library Python, a serverless relay on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB), and an Expo iPhone app.

Questions
What leaves my computer?
For each page: Claude's last reply (cut to 4,000 characters), the project folder name, the machine's host name and the session id. Your replies travel back the same way. The relay keeps them for 30 days so the app can show the thread, then deletes them.
What if my phone is off or out of signal?
A reply you send while no session is waiting is queued and reaches Claude with your next prompt in that session, or at its next stop. Urgent pages keep ringing every minute until you tap Ready or Snooze.
Does it ring on silent?
Pages are delivered as time-sensitive notifications, so they get through Focus modes. On silent the phone vibrates instead of playing the sound.
Can I use it on Android?
Not yet. The app is iPhone only.
Does it work with several Claude Code windows?
Yes. Each session is paged and answered on its own, even two sessions in the same project.
What does it cost?
Nothing while idle. The relay runs on pay-per-use AWS services; heavy use costs around ten cents a month.
